Does The 2009 Election Bears Constructive-Democratic Opposition?

THE ANDERS Uhlin’s remark (1998) at a question why the sosiopolitical order in Indonesia since 1965 (Orba) regime can survive a long time because of the regime’s cleverness controlling opinion that expanded in various problem. Including the opinion was not in accordance with government project that is developmentalism at that moment. He said that the amount of structure authoritarian was distributed and internalized in country politic culture.

Even glanced a moment toward politic culture in Indonesia when Orba regime experienced militarization process in such way, nearly as well totalitarian regime in Rusia, or Chile in Pinochet’s period. With this different, General Augusto Pinochet Ugarte had been holding the power only since September 11th 1973 to December 31st 1990 (17 years), and also Soeharto, since the collapse of Orla (sosiopolitical order during Sukarno era) 1965 to May 21st 1998 (32 years). Even Pinochet’s arrogance said that, “A sheet of leaf in Chile not move unless I order it”. And we are also able to feel what kind of thing may not happens in Indonesia without his order.
